When you join our 1,800 strong teaching team in West Lothian you will find that we have invested heavily in our schools. We are currently replacing two secondary schools with new buildings and undertaking major refurbishments and extensions at three more schools to complete the renewal of our secondary provision. All of our secondary schools have swimming pools and many have state of the art fitness equipment.
Our schools maximise the use of Information Communication Technology with extensive use of computers and smartboards. We are currently rolling out wireless technology across our schools to support Anywhere, Anytime Learning.
You will be joining a team where you will find opportunities to grow and develop. West Lothian is one of the few areas in Scotland to build new schools to meet the needs of a growing population. Over the next 10 years we are planning to build three new secondary schools and 11 new primary schools.
